Music Monday: In This World, Not Of It

LNG-saving-the-world

Romans 12:2 (AMP)

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

1 John 2:15-16 (AMP)

15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].

BE BLESSED!!!

Jeremiah 10:6 (NKJV)

Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord
(You are great, and Your name is great in might),

Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Romans 10:13 (NKJV)

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

BE BLESSED!!

Monday Motivation: All Things Work Together for Good…

 Romans 8:26-28 (NLT)

26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?

Do you love the Lord?

Do you believe that He’s called you to fulfill His purpose?

Has He ever let you down?

I have faith.  I know who God is and wholeheartedly believe His Word.  Even still there are instances when I doubt His promises, only to be shown that my feelings of uncertainty (great or small) were a tremendous waste of time.  I admit that I get on my own nerves when this happens.  The moments (or more) I spent wondering how will God do it?, coulda, woulda, shoulda been spent praising Him for what He’s already done!!  People Patricia, He knows what He’s doing!! After answering “yes” to all of the above questions, there’s no good reason why any of us should waiver in our faith, no matter what situation(s) we face!  We may endure hardship and suffering, but it’s for our goodWe may encounter rejection and disappointment, but it’s for our good.  We may’ve received an answer that wasn’t when or how we wanted itIt’s for our good!! It’s for our growth and maturation, and simply being in the presence of God throughout all of our ups and downs should be more than enough rejoice about!

Even with 20/20 vision there’s a limit to what our natural eyes can see.  God is all and knows all, and will never disappoint usBelieve that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has your best interest in mind, and He has the ability to bring good out of all circumstances for those who love Him!!

 Trust in His faithfulness!

Love For One Another

It’s a beautiful day today and I hope your Sunday has been full of love, hope, joy and smiles. 🙂 We all face ups and downs, but through thick and thin remember that we are brothers and sisters in Christ, and our actions and words should demonstrate a sincere love for one another!  We are to express our love as a reflection of God’s love for us, striving to live peaceably among all men, and seeking to be positive examples to the world at large. I love you all in Christ, and pray that you are abundantly blessed!!!

John 15:9-17  (NKJV)
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
1 John 4:20  (NKJV)                                                                                                                                                                                                        If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
John 13:34-35 (AMP)                                                                                                                                                                                                      I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.  By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves].
