Last month I received The CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible from Front Gate Media. After taking some time to explore the pages and put it to use, I’m excited to offer a giveaway and share my review!!
This post is sponsored by Family Dollar but all opinions are honest and my own.
My middle child has been needing some extra attention lately. It’s been quite the transition for her with big sissy back in school and a new baby constantly in my arms, so I’ve been intentional with giving her special jobs and making sure she feels included.
During a recent trip to Family Dollar she helped me make every decision as we stocked up on Halloween goodies. Because the prices are so affordable I even felt comfortable giving her the liberty to make some choices on her own, and I watched as her confidence shot through the roof!
She was happy knowing she assisted me, and with Smart Coupons (Family Dollar’s saving program), I was happy knowing that the savings were adding up too!
The items in this post have been provided to me in exchange for a review. As always, all opinions are honest and my own!
In spite of the fact that Halloween decor is in absolutely every store, PSL’s are being cranked out left and right at Starbucks, and that I enjoyed the tastiest
slices slice of homemade apple crisp last night😜, summer ain’t over yet!!!
So whether you plan on hitting up the pool over this holiday weekend, or if you’re like me and living in a place that hasn’t cooled down quite yet, these 5 pool time essentials are for you!
Let’s make the most out of these final summer days!
In many ways this is just another typical Monday, but in one way it’s of particular significance to me.
5 Years!! I can hardly believe it!!
I knew this day was coming and originally had ideas of grandeur. Perhaps I’d throw a party, coordinate a mega-giveaway, or in the very least get one of those big ole gold balloons!☺️
Alas, the day snuck up on me and I am woefully unprepared. I’m honestly a bit disappointed in myself for my lack of planning, but today is special nonetheless.
With that in mind, I thought I’d share some fun facts with you about how my little space on the internet came to be, some things that I’ve learned, and more!
Here we go!
We celebrated your birthday today.
It wasn’t the party we might have previously envisioned, and the circumstances were nothing we would have desired.
We weren’t at a restaurant of your choice. We weren’t shaking our heads as you pretended to scan the menu as if you’d actually try something different for a change.
We weren’t having a family game night, talking trash to one another as the cards fell across the table. We weren’t
teasing lovingly commending your persistence even though you have a knack for coming in last place.
We weren’t even at your house because you’re not there. You’re not there and I know that’s the birthday wish that supersedes them all.
But you are here with us, which is a blessing in itself.
You’re here after that alarming text I received on the afternoon of April 4th.
