A very special thank you to Le Petit Marché and Sun in My Belly for providing these meals in exchange for an honest review. As always, my opinions are 100% sincere and my own.
I absolutely love breakfast foods. I am a firm believer that breakfast is a meal that can, and should be enjoyed at any time of the day (dinner included), and I am always on the hunt for a place that really takes this meal to another level.
On my recent girls trip in Atlanta (more on that to come), we found not one, but two amazing restaurants that made my breakfast-loving dreams come true!!
This meal was provided by Dinner Thyme in exchange for an honest review. As always, I only share what I love and appreciate your continued support!
If you know me in person this won’t come as a surprise to you, but cooking is not my thing.
Ok, ok. Now everyone in the “Amen” corner please settle down. LOL.
In all seriousness, I don’t enjoy cooking. I don’t even enjoy grocery shopping. In fact, I despise it. And while my husband will graciously eat all of my meals (let’s face it, the man has to eat something), there are only a handful of dishes that I feel I really knock out of the park.
In addition to my general disdain for the whole process, there’s this thing called time that no one ever has enough of. Evenings are especially challenging with my husband’s work schedule, church activities, getting the girls to bed on time (HA!), etc, but we have to eat!
We don’t want to fall in to the quick but unhealthy fast food routine, so we decided to give Dinner Thyme a try!
It wasn’t the party we might have previously envisioned, and the circumstances were nothing we would have desired.
We weren’t at a restaurant of your choice. We weren’t shaking our heads as you pretended to scan the menu as if you’d actually try something different for a change.
We weren’t having a family game night, talking trash to one another as the cards fell across the table. We weren’t teasing lovingly commending your persistence even though you have a knack for coming in last place.
We weren’t even at your house because you’re not there. You’re not there and I know that’s the birthday wish that supersedes them all.
But you are here with us, which is a blessing in itself.
You’re here after that alarming text I received on the afternoon of April 4th.
Our apartment is quite spacious, but it’s not huge as far as square footage is concerned. Knowing this, I didn’t foresee any problems with our standard WiFi connection.
Unfortunately, I was very wrong!!
Our complex is apparently in an area notorious for its poor reception, so imagine my disappointment when I couldn’t get adequate service throughout our entire place. This is not conducive for my work-from-home needs, and it’s the last thing I wanted to be worried about in the midst of juggling family life and my business.
