Jeremiah 10:6 (NKJV)

Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord
(You are great, and Your name is great in might),

Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Romans 10:13 (NKJV)

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

BE BLESSED!!

Thankful For Another Year!!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;…” Jeremiah 1:5(a)

Another day, another year of life.  I praise the Lord for His abundance of blessings, and for taking the time to form me into the woman I am today.  I know 31 will be a great year, and I will continue to shout God’s Glorious Name!!  Happy Birthday to me…and thank you Jesus!! 🙂

I Will Sing Praises

Psalm 9:2 (NKJV)

I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High

Don’t you love to praise the Lord?!  This past Sunday I heard a wonderful message that served as a much needed reminder of the importance of praise and worship. A great deal was shared, but one thing that stood out to me was this:

Praise is our response to God’s character.  Worship is your conduct in response to God’s presence.

As a praise and worship leader at my church I would often struggle with thoughts of stage fright, or fear of judgment, if I didn’t hit the right note or sing in the perfect key.  I realized that for too long my focus was on pleasing man, rather than praising the God of My Salvation and the Savior of My Soul!!  Today when I praise, my desire is to go forth in excellence in order to honor God first and foremost.  I also hope to be a part of leading the people into their time of worship, and when I begin to feel unsure of myself I re-direct my focus to making a joyful noise unto the Lord!  He always deserves our very best, and my prayer is that we’ll all sing to Him today!!

Psalm 100 (KJV)

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Have you praised our Mighty Father today?

Monday Motivation: We Have Overcome!!

This morning I awoke with joy and gladness in my heart.  I’ve heard some awesome testimonies lately and I want to praise God for all He’s done and all He’s yet to do! Sometimes I get weary, and sometimes I get down, but with the Lord I KNOW I have the victory!!  Whatever challenges you’re facing today, continue giving God the glory.  In Christ, YOU have overcome!!!

1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Deuteronomy 20:4 (NLT) For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

1 John 4:4 (NKJV) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Romans 8:28 (NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

John 16:33 (NKJV) These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you willhave tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Thank you Father for the victory I have through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I’m unable to do it all on my own, but with you I triumphI am an overcomer not based on how I feel, but on the truth that is in your Word.  For all that you are and all you continue to do I give you all the glory, honor and praise.  In Jesus’ mighty name, AMEN!!

Rejoice in the Lord!!

I am really feeling this song this morning!  Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, take a moment to rejoice in the Lord!!

Philippians 4:4 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
