I’m 4 months into breastfeeding my 3rd baby, and I can honestly say that each time has been different. Every nursing experience has come with its own challenges and unique rhythm, but there are three things I know now that I wish I’d know from the start.
Choosing a name for your child is one of the most pivotal decisions of parenting. Before you even meet your precious babe, or perhaps shortly after your first earth side encounter, you’re tasked with deciding on a name they will carry (and hopefully love) for life.
A quick Google search of baby names will produce thousands of options, along with a plethora of suggested guidelines.
Will your child be named after a family member?
Are you looking for something classic, trendy or hipster?
How popular is the name you like?
What’s the meaning and origin of the name?
What are the options for nicknames?
Does it flow with your last name?
How will you spell it?
Will the pronunciation be difficult for your child or others?
And the list goes on and on and and on!!!
These are some of the things my husband and I took into consideration when naming our girls, including our youngest, Evangeline Margaret.

My middle child has been needing some extra attention lately. It’s been quite the transition for her with big sissy back in school and a new baby constantly in my arms, so I’ve been intentional with giving her special jobs and making sure she feels included.
During a recent trip to Family Dollar she helped me make every decision as we stocked up on Halloween goodies. Because the prices are so affordable I even felt comfortable giving her the liberty to make some choices on her own, and I watched as her confidence shot through the roof!
She was happy knowing she assisted me, and with Smart Coupons (Family Dollar’s saving program), I was happy knowing that the savings were adding up too!

The other day my 6 year old told me how excited she is for October. I know it’s because she can’t wait to dress up and collect as much candy as she can at the end of the month, and you know what? I don’t blame her! While she’s waiting in great anticipation for that one special night of tricks and treats, I’m excited for the daily chance to win a different prize with McDonald’s newest game, Trick. Treat. Win!

Last week my fierce and feisty Lily graduated to #fournager status. I still can’t believe the cute, chunky baby I gave birth to is growing up so fast, but in spite of my denial I’m all for a great celebration!
To be honest, I wasn’t going to throw her a party this year. I LOVE parties and enjoy hosting them, but she hadn’t really expressed an interest and we knew we’d be having a full day of family fun on her actual birthday.
However, I knew the plans would have to change once I received the unicorn party pack from Dane & Brookes!
