What Motherhood Means To…Meghan

What does motherhood mean to me?

It means constantly cleaning up toys. Occasionally stepping on legos. Scooping poop out of the bathtub.

Cutting the crust off of each sandwich. Continually wiping snotty noses until you just throw in the towel and let it drip. And yelling “GO TO SLEEP” five hundred and sixty-two times every night.

But even more than that, it is the most glorious and rewarding dream-come-true I could ever experience during life on this earth.

No, You Won’t Steal My Joy!

Into the mud rolled the big fat truck, and his big important wheels got STUCK! His heavy-duty dump-truck tires were sunk down deep in muck and mire.

I know there’s still so much wisdom I’m lacking and so much knowledge to gain, but for me, this is 35.

Faith in the Storm: A Survivor’s Story

Last year my dear friend Tiana shared her story. The words you will read below are her own. They are words I cherish now more than ever, as she made her home in heaven last week.

On November 30, 2017, after her breast cancer aggressively returned, she passed away. It was not without a fight and her journey remained full of faith.

She is loved. She is missed. And through the pain of her earthly absence, we will rejoice in the beauty and strength of the angel we have gained.

What Motherhood Means To…Stephanie

Hi! I’m Stephanie, writer of the I Literally LOL blog and wiper of the poopy bottoms.

I never would have thought that a monotonous cycle of laundry, dishes, stinky diapers, discipline, and sleep deprivation would bring me so much joy. No, I’m really not crazy . . . or at least not certifiably. Ahem.
