The holiday season is upon us, which means family, food, and lots of children on vacation. As much as I’m looking forward to having so many sweet days with both my girls (I really am), I’m also trying to figure out what in the world we’re going to do!!
Trips to playgrounds and the park seem like an obvious choice, but I also want to make sure that time is enjoyable for both Mama and the kids. With that in mind, I’m sharing 3 easy ways to make your park days perfect!
My youngest turned two a couple weeks ago, and while she is just beginning to talk there’s one word I’m pretty sure she’s known since day 1:
When I tell you this girl is a snacker, I mean it!! Carbs and blueberries are all she ever wants. She’ll skip meals and go stand by the pantry door asking for snacks on repeat. Being that this is child number two and I’m oh so experienced (sarcasm noted), I don’t freak out as much about her aversion to complete meals. I do, however, feel bad giving my children the same things over and over and over again. I also want to see her (and my oldest) enjoying foods she likes that are also healthy.
