Alright friends. It’s official. I’ve been 35 for a whole entire day and my world has completely changed!
Ok, not really. Haha. But I am a year older and perhaps a bit wiser (???), and more than anything I’m grateful to God for another year!
This birthday is hitting me as a bit of a milestone, so I thought I’d share 10 life lessons I’ve learned along the way.
I know there’s still so much wisdom I’m lacking and so much knowledge to gain, but for me, this is 35.

Last year my dear friend Tiana shared her story. The words you will read below are her own. They are words I cherish now more than ever, as she made her home in heaven last week.
On November 30, 2017, after her breast cancer aggressively returned, she passed away. It was not without a fight and her journey remained full of faith.
She is loved. She is missed. And through the pain of her earthly absence, we will rejoice in the beauty and strength of the angel we have gained.
It’s been three weeks. Three weeks since my darling Lily turned 2!
Live. Laugh. Love. It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties and after my mother passed away that I heard those three words together. I was going through her jewelry box and found a small silver pendant made of those sweet words. It became my motto, for lack of a better word. Ten years later I became a mother of triplets. Those three words became even more important. They are what motherhood means to me.
