In many ways this pregnancy has been very similar to my previous ones, but in some ways I feel like I’m experiencing things for the first time. There’s always something new to learn, a better product or invention, and more knowledge to grow in. One big difference is that for the first time I’m seriously considering preserving my newborn’s stem cells with Cord Blood Registry (CBR).

I have never been a morning person, and although many people have said that will change after having kids that hasn’t been the case. Do I have to get up earlier because of my little rugrats? Yes. But do I thrive in the morning and do so with glee? Generally speaking, no. Haha.
In spite of the struggle, I want to maximize my mornings to the best of my ability. So I’ve asked the strongest mother I know (my mommy of course) how she powers up in the morning, and these are her top 3 suggestions!

In just 3 days school will be out for the summer and I can’t wait!! No more drop-off and pick-up lines, sleeping in (ha! who am I kidding, lol), and plenty of festivities & quality time with the family.
As I think ahead to the first big event, Memorial Day, the menu is definitely on my mind.

I’ve been fascinated with nature, its unique ecosystems, and the beautiful wildlife that inhabits such diverse terrain for as long as I can remember.
As a child I would frequently visit the library to check out books about animals and the environment. As a teenager I came very, very close to majoring in Environmental Science. And as a college student I had the marvelous opportunity to intern as a park ranger at Alaska’s Denali National Park & Preserve.
Needless to say, I’d love to see my girls take an interest in preserving our planet and its resources, and there’s a simple way we can do so as a family thanks to the Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Amazon!
