There’s been radio silence around here. Silence. But after an unplanned hiatus I’m back and better than ever!
Well, maybe not better, lol, but I am a year older. I turned 36 last week!!
It’s still sinking in, but I believe every age should be celebrated. Birthdays are special and the gift of life should not be taken for granted. So when Sun In My Belly offered to host some friends and I in exchange for an honest review, I jumped at the opportunity!
Every pregnancy is different. Every baby is different. Every child is different.
These are things we hear as moms and expecting moms, and while true, it doesn’t necessarily sink in until it’s experienced. At least for me it didn’t until my second precious daughter came along.
My dear Lily has done her best to make a distinction from her big sister since day 1!
Her sister was born before her due date, Lily was born a day late. Her sister was very active during the day but slept like a champ at night, whereas Lily was incredibly mellow during the day and sleep was definitely NOT in her vocabulary. Her sister has always been pretty good about eating and trying a mix of fruits and vegetables, and that Lily isn’t having it!! HA!
She will eat fruit (not all of them) and not touch a single vegetable, and (like her father I’m told) boycott most everything that’s placed in front of her during mealtime. It’s frustrating to say the least, but this mama has options with the help of Happy Baby’s Clearly Crafted™ Pouches!
We received complimentary meals in exchange for this review. As always, my opinion is 100% honest and my own.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit the restaurantEstablishment, while on my girls trip. There are a number of great food options in Atlanta, but some placesreally stand out. This is certainly one of them!
From the rustic decor based on elements of Atlanta’s rich history, to the incredible service, this is a place you must try if given the opportunity! Oh, and did I mention that the food is phenomenal?!
A very special thank you to Le Petit Marché and Sun in My Belly for providing these meals in exchange for an honest review. As always, my opinions are 100% sincere and my own.
I absolutely love breakfast foods. I am a firm believer that breakfast is a meal that can, and should be enjoyed at any time of the day (dinner included), and I am always on the hunt for a place that really takes this meal to another level.
On my recent girls trip in Atlanta (more on that to come), we found not one, but two amazing restaurants that made my breakfast-loving dreams come true!!
This meal was provided by Dinner Thyme in exchange for an honest review. As always, I only share what I love and appreciate your continued support!
If you know me in person this won’t come as a surprise to you, but cooking is not my thing.
Ok, ok. Now everyone in the “Amen” corner please settle down. LOL.
In all seriousness, I don’t enjoy cooking. I don’t even enjoy grocery shopping. In fact, I despise it. And while my husband will graciously eat all of my meals (let’s face it, the man has to eat something), there are only a handful of dishes that I feel I really knock out of the park.
In addition to my general disdain for the whole process, there’s this thing called time that no one ever has enough of. Evenings are especially challenging with my husband’s work schedule, church activities, getting the girls to bed on time (HA!), etc, but we have to eat!
We don’t want to fall in to the quick but unhealthy fast food routine, so we decided to give Dinner Thyme a try!
