Weekly Image of Life: My Dream Day

My dream day doesn’t have to be complicated, require an exuberant amount of money, or be filled with exotic adventures (even though those are nice too!).  All I need is to be in a relaxed state of mind with the people I love the most, and if the sun’s shining that’s an added bonus!  I know this may seem simple, and it is, but I hope these days happen more often than not.

Forgetting the cares, embracing the love, and grinning broadly enough to invite the smile wrinkles to take over my face, are all indications that I’ve had a dream day…like this one in the park. :)

Thank you Lord for this wonderful day, and the many more to come!

  1. Thank you Lord for this wonderful post and for sharing this family that inspires generously. You post always motivates me to keep finding treasures in the most simple and basic of things. I agree with you that just being around our families, happy, contented, without worries is a beautiful dream day. These are the secrets to a joyful, fulfilling life. It may not be 24/7 but just knowing we get them everyday is something to be thankful for. Have a blessed day to you and your family.

    • I’d like to share one of my favorite verses with you. In spite of the turmoils of life we always have a choice when it comes to embracing and focusing on the positive! :)

      Philippians 4:8 (AMP)

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

God Bless you and your family IT!
